ABOUT SCCOur mission is to contribute to society, through volunteer effort, by placing needy pets in responsible, loving homes, educate and assist with the spaying and neutering of the pet population, and provide other services, including foster care, to pets in need. Our premise is simple, our path uncertain, our goal elusive. We strive to meet each day with the knowledge that, while we can't help every animal in need, we will make a difference. Our volunteers dedicate themselves to our cause, the rewards being occasional heartache, but more often joy and pride in a job well done: another home filled with the love and companionship a pet can provide, and the knowledge that our efforts made life better for a small number of animals on that particular day. |
