Over 4000 animals have been spayed or neutered through SCC since 2003 - 700 last year alone!
Thank you for being a responsible pet owner!
Spaying and neutering is the single, most effective way to reduce the heartbreaking number of pets that are euthanized on a daily basis nationwide.
Second Chance Companions (SCC) is doing its part to help control pet overpopulation in the Clark County area. SCC has received funding from the ASPCA, the Petco Foundation, Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation and Clark County to help cover the costs of spay/neuter for animals in the community.
We are thrilled that Second Chance Companions is able to assist you with the spay/neuter of your animals. If you have a cat and meet low income requirements, you can also check out the Spay & Save program. For cats or dogs, check out People United For Animals (PUFA).
Here is how it works:
1) Fill out the Spay/Neuter Contract
2) Include a donation
3) Send Spay/Neuter Application form and donation to:
Second Chance Companions
4) Once we receive the application, you will be contacted with an appointment for your animal.
