Spay & Neuter Information Page

Spaying and neutering is the single, most effective way to reduce the heartbreaking number of pets that are euthanized on a daily basis nationwide.

Second Chance Companions is doing its part to help control pet overpopulation in the Clark County area. SCC has a grant from Clark County to help cover the costs of spay/neuter for animals that are listed with Second Chance Companions.

Over 1200 animals have been spayed or neutered through SCC since 2003!

We are thrilled that Second Chance Companions is able to assist you with the spay/neuter of your animals.

Here is how it works:

1) Fill out the Spay/Neuter Contract

The Spay/Neuter contract simply states that you are allowing SCC to have a vet perform this procedure for your pets.

2) Include a donation

Second Chance Companions is a non-profit organization, so all of the money goes right back into helping the animals. So that we may continue to offer these services and help others, if you are able to make a donation of $10.00 per cat or $20 per dog, it would be greatly appreciated. Please note your donation is tax-deductible.

3) Send Spay/Neuter Application form and donation to:

Second Chance Companions
Attention: Spay/Neuter Coordinator
PO Box 2343
Battle Ground, WA 98604

4) Once we receive the application, you will be contacted with an appointment for your animal.
